Ban Y Gor - Always The Rain = Hornets Nest
Just wanted to warn anyone trying the route Always the Rain at Ban Y Gor. Got to the chains and clipped my draws and heard loud buzzing. There is a hornets nest in the base of the tree about 2 feet away from the chains.
They didn't seem aggressive but way too close for comfort, they're about the size of my little finger. I crapped myself and just about kept it together to strip the route and get my gear back.
Just wanted to warn others before someone gets a painful stinging !
