Hi,

I'm looking to go out to Seefeld in the late October early November and am frantically trying to do my research on the Seefeld region.

Having visited a well stocked climbing shop, the only book of use was the Cicerone 'Walking in the Bavarian Alps' guide. Whilst this may prove useful (if nothing else is found) ideally, though not essential we'd (two of us)like to stay within/around Seefeld to reduce transport hassle.

Looking more towards mountaineering whilst out there but at the moment any information on crags, conditions, access, terrain, public transport etc. will be gratefully received.

Many thanks,

Stuart.

There might already be a fair bit of unconsolidated fresh snow lying in November and huts will be closed.

Having said that, the Ahnspitze traverse is a worthwhile day out, as are several things above Leutasch in the direction of the Meilerhütte.
