Can anyone recommend any company's to climb Elbrus with next year, I also want to snowboard down?

Has the plane crash effected travelling to that part of Russia?

Thanks in advance.

Just came back from Elbrus a few days ago leading for "Adventure Peaks". Plane crash has had no effect on travel, apparently tourist numbers from Japan and Korea are down! Go figure??? South side just as busy and cluttered as ever. Don't see why you couldn't snow board down, at least from the saddle, plenty locals do! might have to sign a waver to say your on your own when your on the board!!!! Of course next year might be different, but its the same for any mountain range at the moment.

Not Elbrus, but we had a team who were due to climb Mount Kazbek from the Russian side (North Ossetia) and we were told that some Brits had been turned away and that permits were no longer being issued 'for political reasons'.

Climbed Elbrus with JCG Expeditions...could not recommend him more!

He also offers a ski/board descent option
