We're off on our hols and we'd like to do some climbing between worcester (where we pick up a trailer tent) and Lampeter (where we are visiting).
I don't really know the climbing down that way and so I thought I'd ask if anyone has some recommendations of where to climb.

What we want is -

Somewhere with easy access and a flat, safe crag base. We've got the baby with us, we need a place for the pram.
Either bolted routes or somewhere we can set up a top rope. Due to baby we don't really want to lead trad in case we need to stop climbing quick.

Apart from that we're not too fussy. I guess a crag with a good mixture of grades would be good. A bit if a detour would be okay.

Any ideas? i've been looking through the crags on ukc but it's nice to get some ideas from locals.

Ta.

I'm not a local, being from the "wrong" side of the Bristol Channel but I reckon The Gower might be your best bet. Good Beaches, camp sites, a mixture of sport and trad in all shapes and sizes, close to the delights of the Welsh capital city!
