Hi, currently up im Galloway and was wondering if there were any cliffs near Stranraer that youcan walk into. Only asking as we have the dog with us and can't really abseil into / scramble into cliffs with him.
Thanks
Frank

Labrax has a an excellent beach with hardish, quality slabs:

Take care driving down to the beach, easy to bottom a car but not too bad.

Edit:- Its a bit of hike (1km according to logbook page) from the parking area to the climbing, but easy walking along the beach when the tide is out. Its also easy enough to access from above through grazed farmland and down to the climbing area via steep grass if required.

Garheugh might be good, eaasy access, not very high though, mainly bouldering there, but some routes. Nice setting though.
