Hi All,
As highlighted in a recent article in Alpinist, the majority of climbing in Meteora is at risk of closure. It seems that climbing is having a negative impact on the peaceful environment which the monks have devoted their lives too. Strangely, the hordes of people which visit the monastery on a daily basis is not a problem though.
