Thinking about selling my VW Camper on ebay but confused about the fees. Any advice would be appreciated.

Plus a massive hit if you take paypal:

"Standard transaction fee within the UK : 3.4% + 20p per transaction."

Try to sell it cash on collection or bank transfer instead of through paypal.

Yes to this.
Although ebay requires that you must accept PayPal as a seller, make it clear in your listing that PayPal will not be acceptable.
If some eejit then pays you by PayPal anyway (unlikely) you can just refuse to go through with the transaction, albeit at the risk of some negative feedback I suppose.

Or sell through auto trader or some such.

You can put your advert on ebay as a classified add instead of an auction (if you have wish to sell it that way). Then there is just a flat fee of £14.99 to pay.

Motor vehicles are £10 to list, upgrades cost a little extra i.e reserve price then once sold its 1% for final value to a MAX of £35. So even if it sold for 4 or 5 grand the most you'll pay is about £50

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

The next thing to decide is Auction / Buy it Now or Classified?

I sold my car as a Classified as it was fixed fees and I knew how much I wanted to sell it for. Went quickly and with no fuss.
