My excellent wife has bought me an XE-2 for my birthday. Now I need to accessorise!

I'd want a small camera bag that has strong attachment system, that I can quickly pull the camera out of and grab a shot. does anyone have a suggestion.

I probably need some filters, screen protector and memory card.

If you're not carrying extra kit, then there are cheap leather cases on amazon that do a good job. Definitely get a screen protector too!

18-55 kit zoom? If so:

I spent quite a bit of time looking into this and for my requirements the short answer was that there's nothing that ticks all the boxes (ie ease of access, robustness, compactness, decent weather-sealing, and doesn't cost the earth). I ended up with one of these: http://store.lowepro.com/adventura-tlz-15 and plan to modify it.

Oh for the days when CCS were around!

Screen protector: Expert Shield are well recommended and easy to fit.

I keep my XE-1 in a CCS case I've had for nearly thirty years. Is the story true that their demise was because the cases were so bombproof that nobody ever needed to replace them? I lost a compact camera a couple of years ago and was almost as gutted about another equally old CCS case as the camera. Miraculously I managed to find a brand new replacement on Amazon!
