There will be a cave rescue practice at Fairy Cave Quarry on Saturday 13th September. It shouldn't affect climbers but there will be 30+ cavers operating both above and below ground. Some cavers will be at the cliff top using surface to cave radios etc. Most cavers will park in their car park but some may spill out into the roadside spaces.

Thanks for letting us know Ian, I am planning to make a long-overdue visit to the quarry on Saturday so I can look forward to some entertainment in addition to the climbing. Do you know the times of the planned exercise?

Hopefully there'll still be somewhere to park the car. Do you know of any good spots slightly further from the quarry if the normal spots are full?
