7 Stanes accommodation

Thinking of going up to Dumfries and Galloway 7 Stanes week after next - Kirroughtree, Dalbeattie and Mabie. Anyone got any recommendations of good but cheap accommodation in the area - bunkhouse or B&B?

Marthrown of Mabie, right in the centre of Mabie forest, fantastic bunkhouse, and highly recommend the food.

The wife and her mates also stayed at marthrowan , said the bunkhouse was adequate but they had a meal cooked for them , a group of 12 , which was very good .

Cheers all - Mabie it might be then. Used to work there many moons ago, pre 7 Stanes in fact.
