That's unfortunate, but I'm not sure it makes a big difference to people in the UK. As far as I know season 1 has never been legally available here, and I only saw it after someone eventually uploaded the lot to youtube.
A pain, as I would rather not rip them off. I would buy DVDs like a shot.
