Hi,
We're off on a 4 month south East Asia trip next year, IV never bothered with travel insurance before but I'm thinking of getting some this time considering the length of the trip.

Any idea where I can get cover for such a long period? Also the cheaper the better, we are backpacking after all.

Hi Brendan,

Banks offer insurance "with" their credit/debit card. This is pretty cheap. It is for the whole year, however you should check how long period for "one trip" it covers.

Note: I am from Czech republic but I guess it will be the same in UK as well.

Ah, I'm based in Australia at the moment. Will be starting from here and finishing in the UK.
Maybe there's some good online companies?

I used Colombus insurance for a 6 month trip, try an insurance comparison website?
