I'm thinking of planning a cheap week away over new year to get some climbing in,
Whether U.K. or abroad where would you go?
I do trad, sport and bouldering

If flying is not a problem (ie you are not miles from an airport) and it is a long weekend then Paklenica in Croatia is pretty good (not sure what Jan weather is like) basically and hours drive from the airport and you are there.

Know of any warm places to stay? Armandiers was freezing in the evening, hats and duvets required in early November last year.
