Can't see any coverage of this in Radio Times - is anyone broadcasting the World's? Wiggo sounds confident of beating Martin on Radio 5.

Can't see it myself, however much I'd like to. Martin has been a cut above the rest for the last few years.

Didn't seem to be on the Red Button or the website. Maybe I just haven't got the hang of it. Moot now at any rate, since it would also seem the take-off times were local and it's all over already

It was on the website but I'm still weeping over the result so can't see it any more either.

Very good showing by wiggo... makes Sky's selection decisions this year look quite dubious.

Possibly, but then maybe he wouldn't have done so well if he'd spent all summer aboard the Sky Train chugging around France and Spain

true, but it shows he's still got it and isn't the has been that he's been made out to be in some quarters

In what way ? this was a single ITT not a grand tour (or even a tour of Britain for that matter)

Which may or may not be the reason Tony Martin didn't live up to life as favorite here.

I will now quite cheerfully eat my hat. Amazing performance.

I assumed Wiggins was all talk but it appears he was in great condition after all and right there to take full advantage when Martin wasn't his usual great.

I hope this keeps the Wiggins' moral up through the winter and we see him at 100% in the spring classics.

If there's one thing that marks Wiggo out in my opinion it is that he is rarely all talk. A great performance.

I would be curious if he's a dream or a nightmare to work with as a coach
