Hello to the Manchester lads we saw on the St Gervais dry-tooling crag at the weekend. You asked for an update on conditions on the Matterhorn North Face. In a word, fantastic. Tom and I climbed the route yesterday in 10 hours, the only problem was a bit of queueing as there were at least 6 parties on the face. So if your work schedules allow, get back out and go and do it. Phil
