Hmmm, at 7:57 he says "I turned 18 just after I did this"

Really enjoyable, and as someone who is in their 50s, I can emphasise with Ben on how it feels to go back on routes done in your youth.

Not sure about Statement being the first UK route specifically bolted throughout. Clarion Call (5 bolts) was done by Gary Gibson in 1983.

Any earlier claims anyone is aware of?

Driller Killer at Legaston is regarded by many Scots as being the first sport route in the UK, but I don't have the guide to hand to check the date.

Driller Killer was bolted in late 1983 but not climbed till 29th Feb 1984
