done, a few questions a little difficult to answer - quite what do you mean by skiing ? I strongly dislike skiing in Scotland's ski resorts but would put ski touring as my favourite activity.

Done ... and interesting response statistics. Predictably, we are a shallow, self-centred and blinkered demographic.

I don't want to give to much away for those who haven't completed it yet. Basically my dissertation is going to attempt to investigate to what extent current conservation strategies represent the perceptions of landscape upheld by mountain users. A lot has been written about the idea that the "geodiversity" concept can fulfil the two necessary aspects of conservation: firstly the identification and selection of key locations most important to conserve; and secondly providing a role in actively safeguarding these key locations by looking at our own geoheritage and how we as human beings respond to our environment.

if people are interested, I will certainly get some of the findings posted on here.

Thanks again.

More than words can say* so I can't say. Just go there and look at them yourself. Your enquiry is slewed as only a certain sort of person will reply which means it has absolutely no value.

*or little crosses.
