I understand FIFA were fully in favour of Vladimir Vladimirovich the impaler getting due recognition of his contribution to peace in Chechnya, Georgia, the Ukraine and Syria, but had a temporary shortage of brown envelopes in which to make their case.

Really good prize announcement and you raise this?. Child slavery and denial of education for girls are massive issues and Im delighted with the award to two campaigners struggling against the tide in their respective countries.

That's right. I am deadly serious. I think it terrible and shocking Putin was overlooked in favour of someone demonstrating personal bravery and remarkable articulacy to argue for education and general human rights.
