Recovery... Help!

I've spent a fair few months away from climbing.. around 5 months, partly due to a finger injury and also lack of climbing where I was. Although I think my fitness is better now, due to a lot of walking and cycling; whatever previous climbing ability I had seems to have left me.

I was climbing indoors with friends and everything seemed so very difficult. It probably just something I need to work on a bit, and soon my form will return. Also my 'comfy-ish' shoes were killing me!

Any tips for getting back to form??

No tips from me as I'm in the same boat. An hour down the bouldering wall and my butterfly wing-fragile skin, my cooked-spaghetti fingers and I were sent packing.

I'll be interested to see people's answers, but I expect the overriding answer will be 'climb more'.

Drop few grades and work back up. I had a twenty year lay-off and nearly died on the come-back. Re-set my aspirations/ability level and am now almost back to where I used to be, but it has taken some time and effort.
