Hello everybody,

I am really new at this and I need your help

I am translating a short film about Wide Boyz and I am having some trouble with some terms. They mention "undercut mono style". I know undercut is the same as undercling, when you make presure onwards. But I do not know what they mean by "mono style". They are doing crack climbing and they mention fingerlocks, finger jams, etc. Is "mono style" related to all these? And by the way, when they talk about "finger jams", they mean cracks where only fingers can be introduced, right?

I am really sorry for bothering you, but I am as keen on this topic as ignorant.

Hope you can enlight me! Thanks a lot and enjoy!

In reply to cracks:

by mono they simply mean they are using just one finger to this particular move (painful).

This is in reference to most likely this move : http://www.mountainproject.com/images/51/49/107235149_large_4024ed.jpg on Cobra Crack.
