The 4th edition of the Gebro Verlag Sicily Rock seems to be out, in some sense. Does anyone know if anywhere in the UK is actually stocking it? And if not, would we be missing out on much good easy stuff if we just got the 3rd edition instead? We're heading out there in about a month, but it's always nice to have a guidebook to get excited about in advance...

It is definitely out, I got my copy a few weeks ago, but it takes a while for the bulk copies to work their way through the distribution system. There is enough to go at in the old guide for sure! The new guide has about 90 more routes, a lot are in the easier grades. Josef Gstottenmayr was very busy in the area between Bunker and Portella de Vache.
The fourth edition is now available for pre-order from the BMC shop, and should be delivered in early November.
