Possibly a little daft... but does the Wild Country Tech Friend Repair Kit work on the newer Helium Friends?? Has anyone done this repair themselves??

Or alternatively, is it worth sending the unit off to be repaired by them??

Yes they are compatable. They are easy enough to replace yourself. You just need some pliers with a wire cutting edge and some superglue.
