I have had a quiet day today so spent some time going through my UKC photo gallery and have noticed that a lot of the crag shots have wild discrepancies regarding the actual grade and the grade shown next to the route name. Some examples, Scrattling Crack actual grade V Diff, photo grade HVS 5a. Lands End Long Climb actual grade V Diff, photo grade HVS 4c . Knight's Climb (Cheddar) actual grade Diff, photo grade E1 5b.There are many others and this is just in my gallery,so is this widespread across UKC? I have mentioned this before on the "New UKC" thread and thought by now things would have improved but so far,no change.Has anyone else noticed this potentially confusing problem?

Yes, I noticed this today - although the name seemed right, the grade given in the photo credit seemed to be the one for the next route to the right (and clicking the link took you to that climb)

(Tryfan bach, Slab 1 VDiff - picture legend reads 'Slab 1 Severe 4a' and links to the description for 'Slab 2')

Thanks for reporting it. I'll sort it out when I'm back from holiday next week.

Cheers, Paul.
