I'm planning to buy a bivi bag and wondered if anyone can recommend one. I need it to be waterproof, breathable, hard wearing and light weight. I would use it in Scotland and the Alps.
Thanks

Got an alpkit one.
It breathes well, but Is a little flimsy for bad weather, and you can't seal yourself in to well against the rain. Fine for summer or ? Under a tarp. If I bought again I'd get the Xl version.

Ditto all Skol's points. Alpkit Rig 7 tarp is bigger than one person needs but they've just brought out the 3.5
