What movies or TV shows could people suggest with a horror/thriller vibe which I can watch at Halloween?

Got to admit I'm not a fan of graphic violence and blood-fests, not because they scare me but because I find them boring and predictable.

Eraserhead. Not your traditional blood / gore fest in any sense but probably the movie that's stuck with me the most over the years. Dark, quiet, queasy, uneasy.

Still gives me the Fear.

I tend to think that films to watch that are related to All Hallows Eve (Samhain) are ghost/spirit type films.
God knows where the blood fest connection came from, America probably.

To be fair, you may leave it thinking "what the ***k was that about"?.

I watched it when I was VERY young (maybe a bit too young) and something about it gave me nightmares for ages.

Eraserhead. Said it before, I'll say it again, that film is in my top ten.
