Odd choices (unless the Plantation trip is bouldering) with 10 degrees with a SW breeze onto exposed edges.... wrap up warm.

They'll need somewhere exposed for it to be dry - no sun atm and it pissed down in Sheff till early morning.

Happy Days! My first proper climb outdoors was on an OUMC freshers' meet, no idea what - the Peak District somewhere. I remember the kind bloke who led us up (Kev?) trying to show me how he'd set up the belay at the top and having no idea what he was talking about....then the pub (leaving a large tip good on them) and back in the minibus home, with the delights of "Where did you go to my lovely" and "The Windmills of your mind" et al on the tape player. Seems so long ago but only about 10 years!. Whoops, don't post when you've been drinking : ).
