I'm reading Richard Parks' book at the moment, and last year went to hear him talk here at Cardiff Uni. It was an excellent talk, he's an articulate guy with a fantastic story, genuinely friendly in informal chat after the talk had finished, and I'm enjoying the book too. Well worth getting the book - or downloading it in Kindle which is what I did. I'm considerably more impressed with his mountaineering achievement than when I used to see him on the rugby field!
