Thinking of doing this in 2015. Need thoughts on footwear......
Did the Keswick to Barrow walk this year (40miles) in my running shoes, as the walk was mostly on road and well made paths. No problems at all.
This new challenge is 54 miles and I think the terrain is a lot rougher. So, thinking I like the idea of lightweight approach type shoes instead of my walking boots.
Thoughts? Anyone done it before?
