Hi

Im looking at a trip next year to get on some of the lovely (low grade ) golden granite rising from the geant glacier . Routes I have my mind are are

- Pyramid Tacul e ridge
- Lepiney route on the trident
-Gervasutti route on the Petit capucin
-Voi rebuffet on the Midi

Can anyone a recommend any more in the vicinity that are of simular , length difficulty and also avoid any difficult ice / snow sections?

Thanks

Go to the Envers hut, there are loads of cool routes that fit your brief there.

Salluard ... routes around the requin hut , perfect views of geant glacier.

I second the envers suggestion ...

Loads of easy granite routes accessible form the Argentiere hut, just a little more esoteric, harder to find beta, usually quiet etc but more accessible once at the hut.
Some information can be found in the mountain office in Chamonix or take a gamble & travel upto the hut as all the topos & advice can be gained there.

Thanks for the advice all , out of interest most people seem too be veering me away from the climbs below Tacul and Maudit, am I missing something ?

The Maudit and Tacul routes are a bit higher, and the terrain below them is heavily glaciated, and so crevassed. But in good weather, they're great.
