This is a bit of a brag on behalf of my wife. Last year she had a nasty fall off the bike which resulted in a fortnight on a zimmer frame and a very long slow recovery. Then she hit a significant birthday (almost as traumatic - I won't say which but we're hoping to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary in a couple of years. So she set some goals for 2014 one of which was to ride up Mont Ventoux, Le Geant de Provence, which tops out at over 1900metres. She did this a few days back. I'm so proud of her! One of our daughters and her family were there to cheer. The grandchildren painted GO NANNY on the road. I'll post a picture.
