Never knew you were in Clockwork Orange! But my old teacher wrote the Dalziel and Pascoe books so I followed your portrayal of the gobby Yorkshire detective with interest.

You were dead good.

Only just remembered that your old teacher died himself a couple of years ago. I have always been a big fan.
"Underworld" was filmed mostly in our village; "No Man's Land" is a brilliant evocation of WW1; and "The Woodcutter" has a bit of interest in it for devotees of the grandest crag in the Lakes.

Yes, he was a very nice guy. I was fortunate enough to work with him on a film at film school (he had the main part in another student's film) in c.1975. I remember he was very patient and helpful, and full of suggestions.
