Celebrating Significant Climbs across the Seven Continents. Seven legendary climbers gather in the UK in November for First on the Continents, hosted by Sir Chris Bonington, to celebrate the challenge of making first ascents on each of the world's seven great land masses.
Featured climbs include Simone Moro's 8000m first winter ascents, Alex Huber's solo free ascent of Cima Grande, Andy Kirkpatrick's new route on Ulvetanna and Simon Yates' infamous 'Touching the Void' epic on Siula Grande. In aid Community Action Nepal www.canepal.org.uk 01768 484842.
