I've just upgraded to LR v5.7 and now, every time I try to import a file or files, the programme immediately completely crashes. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, did you manage to resolve it?

I've Not encountered any issue with LR 5,7 Import.

No problem with imports, but two attempts to download and install. The first version seemed to be missing something as it was a smaller download hanging for a long time before it said successfully downloaded; it obviously was not finished but fortunately for me it would not open to install. Second download went smoothly.
Just finished two imports from separate sd cards, and all seems ok.
Add: Win 7, 64 bit as Chris JD.

Thanks for the replies. It seems to have resolved itself in that if I remove the SD card I had connected, the imports work fine. It looks like the issue arises only when I have an SD card inserted in the built-in reader. Bit of a workaround, but I can live with that. Cheers again.
