Nikwax's uncompromising environmental ethos has once again been recognised and rewarded by a trusted authority in sustainability. This month, Nikwax received a Gold Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice in the Products and Recycled Products category [in 2009 the company won a Bronze for Environmental Best Practice in Manufacturing]. The Green Apple Environment Awards are the culmination of an annual international campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. This accolade comes in the wake of April's announcement when Nikwax became the first outdoor brand to win a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.
