An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to be responsible for our South UK & Midlands Sales and Training.

Osprey Europe was established in the UK in 2003 to handle supply of Osprey products to the European market and to increase its global recognition as an industry leader.

Resulting from its success, this role will be a key appointment in the Sales team and will provide the following:

• Responsibility for managing sales and providing training across our South UK and Midlands account base
• Reaching business targets through effective management of designated regions and physical visits to customer sites
• Developing ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintaining a professional image of the Company

Reporting to the UK, Denmark & Finland Sales Manager, part of your responsibilities will be to manage all sales and business relationships with an assigned group of customers in the South of UK & Midlands. You will advise these customers on new and existing product lines, provide complete training and support to stores selling Osprey products and provide product presentations at stores, tradeshows and our European Head Office in Dorset. A part of this role will also involve travel both within and outside the UK to assist with trade shows, events, sales and product meetings.

It is essential you have knowledge and experience of:
• Working in a retail environment
• Working in a sales environment including pre-visit planning, account development and region management
• A knowledge of the outdoor industry
• A knowledge of the Osprey product

You will have strong problem identification and resolution skills with a high level of integrity and work ethic. It is an essential that you are able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, which will require a flexible and adaptable attitude with exceptional listening, verbal communication and presentation skills. With high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm, you must possess a passion for and interest in our products.

This role will involve extensive travel throughout the South UK and Midlands so you must possess a valid driver’s licence and also a passport for occasional travel outside the UK.

The salary for this position is £22,000 p.a. + Company vehicle, profit share scheme and other benefits.
