Hey folks,
I've heard it's possible to bivvi in some of the caves at El Chorro. Anyone have any further info on these? Which crags, where to park, distance from car, directions, safety for leaving gear etc?

Many thanks,
Conor

I can only remember one I saw in use, down from the Makinodromo (sp?) useful if you are working on Lourdes. The guys using it got a lift along the railway one night from a maintenance engine. Bit remote otherwise.

It used to be possible to bivvy in some of the maintenance tunnels on the Camino del Rey, probably not possible now with the restoration work.

I second Pedro's comment. You could use that cave, but be sure to make sure you take plenty of water and grub with you as there is nothing close that you could use.
