First the DMM Rebels

I have used these axes on one icefall climbing trip in Switzerland. They are the best axes I have used but I have now given up due to knee problems after many years on the hills. They are in great nick. Just a couple of paint chips on the heads. They come with the DMM quick release leashes which have not been used.

Here are a couple of descriptions of the tools :

'A cutting edge tool for ice warriors. Penetrates ice like nothing else, and with even less vibration. A technical all-rounder, it performs perfectly on steep ice and also excels when torquing and hooking on mixed ground.'

'The Rebel offers unmatched durability due to it's 1-piece head and shaft making it suitable for the most challenging ice climbs. The ice axe is easy to use as it features an adjustable handle, heavily curved head and strong teeth for confident hold even on hard ice. The Rebel has a length of 50 centimetres and weighs less than 700 grams.'

They currently retail at Cotswold for £150 each without leashes. So lets start the bidding at £150 for the pair. Good luck and enjoy climbing with them, I know I did !

La Sportiva Trango S Evo GTX 44

Superb boot and used a couple of seasons for Alpine scrambling and multi pitch routes. Very little wear. They are size 44 and I take a size 9 shoe. I have put a low starting bid on this so that they sell. These retail at around £245 so you are onto a real deal if you bid for these. Only selling due to giving up because of knee problems after many years on the hill.

Lightweight, sturdy and shaped for precision, the La Sportiva Trango S Evo GTX is as popular as ever for via ferrata and alpine or mountain walking. Some multi-purpose boots end up as 'jacks of all trades', excelling at nothing, but not the Trango S Evo. No, this is a boot specialised to go wherever is too technical for your hiking boots but doesn't need the warmth of winter mountaineering boots.

The lighter, less insulated design that makes the Trango S Evo good all year round also allows it to be low-profile - perfect for technical scrambling between steep walking sections. Compatible with semi-autmatic crampons for mild winter routes, the Trango's 3D Flex ankle supports laterally while supportively flexing for comfortable walking, which you'll appreciate on steep terrain. It's also robust thanks to carefully chosen, entirely synthetic materials (it's a vegan-friendly boot) and the tough rubber rand and toe cap. Plus of course it's fully waterproof and breathable, but you knew that because it's made with a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane. Excellent performance doesn't come much lighter or more versatile than this - the Trango S Evo GTX is the link between walking and mountaineering footwear.

Wait, so you're not actually selling them at a fixed price on this site? You're just inviting us to go bid on ebay? Surely that's not the point of this forum.
In reply to Removed User:

Not sure I'd Waste £6 to direct punters elsewhere
