My last tin of original Nikwax boot waterproofing gunk (the proper stuff, in a tin) is nearly empty. Nikwax don't make it any more and its replacement is unpleasant to apply and less effective. Can anyone please suggest an alternative?
(Why do manufacturers feel an urge to try to improve tried and tested products? And why is it that 'product improvements' are invariably not?)
