Crimbo coming up and time to replace my well battered 13y old ropes which have witnessed multiple falls.

Looking for 2x 50m half ropes for non-winter UK trading, decent balance between weight and strength/durability, at a good price. Any one aware of the best deals out there? any opinions on this lot?

Thanks lithos, is there any disadvantage of dry treated? I don't do snow and ice. Also, I don't think I wants 60s, what do you mKe of the mammoth obsession?

thats a great deal.

I like a 60 as you can double it over for shorter routes and still have plenty for building your belay.

In reply to Owen W-G:

only disadvantage of dry treatment is price (as far as im aware, the treatment can help keep dirt out as well)
and possibly a smidge of weight

re 60 vs 50 - cut 10m ooff (or 2 x 5ms) plenty of uses for the offcuts !

i hadn't seen the obsessions but if thats 110 a pair - i'd buy em (if i needed any),
i have a pair of 8.3 shorties (30 m) that have been fine
