Does anyone know if anything is in, in Cogne? Total punt I know

Was up in lillaz dry tooling today as conditions not the best. Heard there is stuff to climb up at the top of the valleys but it's a bit thin. Patri has been climbed but maybe not the final pitch.

Does anyone have any update on conditions out around Cogne?
Planning on heading over at the end of the month, but posted conditions accounts seem thin this year. (As does the ice!!)

I backed off a route yesterday. Its simply Too warm. Debris falling. Only saw 3 routes in dubious nick.

That is not too good for a friend of mine who is there. He was due to go to the Ecrins for ice with me just before Christmas, but we scrubbed that because there was no ice. Will be pretty tough to have lightning strike twice, having actually gone on the trip this time.

Just hope they managed something!
