Is it possible to hire boots, axes and crampons in Rjukan? What are the prices like and is there a website I can see? Thanks.

I believe Intersport in Rjukan hire equipment out, or used to. Not sure of prices but would expect to be expensive, it's Norway after all.

There used to be a good independent store but it shut down a couple years ago. I think some pop up when the festival is on in February but we normally rent kit in the UK and take it out. I've not tried intersport, but also I haven't managed to find it before, and we've really struggled to get any spares while being out there.
