Good evening and a very merry Christmas to you all.

Could anyone shed light on conditions in the Cairngorms please? I'm flying up tomorrow with family and friends and I hope to get out for a jolly at least once over the coming week, however given that I'll be alone I'm looking for easyish ridges... Fiacaill Ridge being the obvious choice.

Out today nice bit of Hoar developing so cliffs looking white again, bullet hard neve everywhere with the odd pocket of powder here and there. Lurchers was looking very thin but it's still a bit early for the ice routes there to be in condition. Coire Lochian was empty at about 2pm.
