Crikey. I have just watched this while eating my breakfast. To say "well done" seems inadequate!!

I may have had a wee blether with your dad as I walked back to my car in Ballachulish on Friday. He was up from Dumfries visiting his son who is a member of Glencoe MRT? Bit of a long shot I know

Hey, Buzz Lightyear! Good to see you still around! We're still doing annual Scotland trips, but most of the people who come now are "ex UKC" rather than current members/posters. We've moved the location to Roy Bridge but usually spend some time in Glencoe. We'll be there early March, but hope we don't need to call on the team.

Dunno if you know, but Pete Ambrose got married again in his 50s and has since fathered 3 girls (2 of them being twins). He doesn't climb any more, but does a lot of fell racing. Obviously keeps the sperm flowing!
