Seez les Arcs and Cogne- Routes and Access

Does anyone know if there are any Ice routes around Val d'Isère, Seez les Arcs? I am not familiar with the area, but am heading out there tomorrow.

I will be in staying in Les Arc's and am then considered making my way over to Cogne.

However, having done my research it seems getting to Cogne will be difficult.

Is there any public transport to Cogne? A taxi will cost over 100 Euros from Bourg St Maurice, and have concluded the only way of doing it is by hire car, is that right?



Any information/advice you have is very much appreciated.

No, it's a bit easier than you think. If you can get to Chamonix, then there's a daily bus service through the tunnel that takes you to the bus station in Aosta centre. From there, there's a regular bus service up to Cogne. If you need to, you can then get to Lillaz or Valnontey by either bus or taxi.

A bit of googling will get you the times etc.
