Winter in Chamonix - Places to stay
Where is the cheapest/best place to stay to hook up with fellow climbers?
I usually stay at the YHA who incidentally do an all in package for 184 Euros for 4 days skiing and half board apparently.
The only downside is that it is not terribly central.
Have you any other suggestions for places to head for in the town where I might find like minded winter climbers?.
I've got three weeks to kill.

+1 for La Tapia. Every time I've stayed there I've hooked up with skiiers and met climbers. I'll be back there in March if you're there then.
