Got a McKinley Primaloft jacket. Seems all ok 34.99 from 99.99. Hard to fault - good zips , Primaloft sport fill and a good hood.
RED gear on their website looks seriously good but just can't find it in the uk.
It's decent value basic kit. Don't expect it to perform quite as well as the usual brands. Don't expect to pay more than half as much. Depends on your priorities. On the value curve I'd say it was pretty high.
I'm on my second pair of their lightweight zip-off trousers for pretty much all hillwalking except the absolute depths of winter. I like 'em. First pair lasted five years or so.
