Done a similar one with my kids. Looks scary, but is essentially foolproof, as the carriage clamps around the centre rail and cannot fall off unless something brakes. You can of course fall off, so you can either hold on for dear life or lean into the turns to get pushed onto your seat. The other type where you go down a metal half tube sitting on a little sled with wheels is much scarier. If you don't bank or reduce speed you will fly off.
