I have the fantastic opportunity of visiting a friend in Argentina, 2½ weeks around Easter!
We can meet somewhere from Bariloche and up North.
Can anyone recommend good places for sport climbing? Pierda Parada seems spectacular, but it is a bit off the track.. Valle Encantado near Bariloche seems really nice too - but I cannot find out, whether this is closed for climbing?? Is Arenales good for sport climbing?
Also we would like to trek. Maybe around Aconcagua, to sniff the atmosphere of the high mountains. But is it out of season? It could be further North also, there seems to be some weird and dry landscapes. I cannot find much information on the trekking posibilities though.
