I've seen a fair few posts around the internet claiming climbx bolts are unsafe, they are not in the uiaa database, they use a poor grade stainless steel etc etc...
Does anyone know the story here? It looks like Alan Jarvis from UIAA was looking into these reports and requested a few of the failed ones for testing but I've not seen any updates.
