For some reason I can't reply to lakes winter conditions?

We were up Blencathra today. Massive avalanche debris in the little valley at Mousthwaite Comb area, the east face had gone about 1m below the path on the east face, never seen anything like that in the lakes.

Lots of dodgy looking wind slab on the path at the side of scales fell.

We started sharp edge but felt uncomfortable with my experience so turned back and went for a pint. We met a few climber who got up safely.

Great views but no photos sorry.
